Privacy notice

What we collect

When you use the checker we collect your answers about the project (for example what prompted the enquiry, project type, postcode, timeframe and any wording you paste in). If you choose to send an enquiry, we also collect your name, email, phone number and, optionally, your organisation.

Why we collect it

• To show you a summary of your situation.
• With your explicit consent, to share your enquiry with an appropriate acoustic consultant so they can contact you about the project.
• If you separately opt in, to send occasional useful information about planning, noise and acoustic assessments.

Who we share it with

We only share your enquiry and contact details with an acoustic consultant if you tick the consent box. We use service providers (such as form-handling and hosting services) to operate the site.

Analytics

We measure how the site and checker are used (for example which questions are answered) to improve them. We do not put your name, email, phone number or free-text answers into analytics.

On your device

Your checker answers are stored in your browser for the current session so you don't lose progress if you refresh. They are cleared once your enquiry is sent or when you close the browser.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw marketing consent at any time, by contacting us via the contact page.
